New to Acecraft, or coming back after a break? This is the page that answers the questions everyone asks in their first week, straight and fast. Everything here is checked against the official patch notes and store listing as of the October 2026 update that added SP pilot Drakuku.

Let’s get into it.

The Basics

What is Acecraft?

Acecraft is a free to play vertical shoot ’em up for iOS and Android with a retro rubber hose cartoon style. You fly through the sky world of Cloudia, dodge bullet storms, absorb pink projectiles to power up, and pick roguelike skills mid run. It also has two player co-op.

Who makes it?

Acecraft is developed by Vizta Games, part of the Moonton family, and published globally by Skystone Games. The worldwide release landed in late August 2025, and the game has been updated roughly every month since.

What is the latest update?

The October 2026 update added SP tier pilot Drakuku, a vampire prince from Evernight Clockwork Island. Before that came SS tier Silvanna (September 4) and SP tier Blazewing Ekko (August 13). Our patch notes page tracks every update.

Gameplay Questions

How do the controls work?

Hold your finger on the screen to move. While you hold, your plane auto fires. Lift your finger and the plane stops, stops firing and absorbs pink projectiles. That is the whole trick, and it is the most important skill in the game.

What do pink projectiles do?

Absorbed pink projectiles charge your Stunt, a pilot specific power up. Many stages also have a star goal for absorbing a set number of them. Our pink projectile guide covers timing in detail.

The Play: treat pink bullets as ammo, not danger. Let go, soak, hold, fire. Repeat until the boss gives up.

What are attachments?

Attachments are the random skills offered during a run. You pick one of the offers as you progress, and they stack into your build for that run. They reset when the run ends, so permanent power comes from elsewhere. See our attachments guide.

Can I play with a friend?

Yes. Acecraft has real time two player co-op, and you can invite friends through social platforms. The limited time Co-Pilot event unlocks after Adventure stage 2-3 and pays Recruit Tickets, Gold, EXP and Diamonds.

Progression Questions

When do modes and features unlock?

What is the Modify system?

Modify is your permanent upgrade screen. Base Tune-Up raises ATK, DEF and HP, and Super Tech unlocks extra upgrades. Unlike attachments, these never reset. Our Modify guide explains what to buy first.

What are Emblems?

Emblems go on your Gear and boost combat Attributes. You get them from the daily Quick Patrol and Nemeses’ Return events or the Emblem Workshop, and you can save Presets for different modes.

What should I do every day?

Open the Flight Log for daily quests, run Quick Patrol and Nemeses’ Return, clear whatever Realm Trial has open, and grab the free Diamond claims in the Recruit screens. Then check for live events like Tempus Trek periods or Co-Pilot. It takes about fifteen minutes, and it is the cheapest progress in the game. Our daily challenges guide lists the best order, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Pilot and Gacha Questions

What pilot rarities are there?

Today the tiers are A (Excellent), S (Epic), SS and SP. There is no B rarity anymore. The first SS tier pilot, Vincent, arrived in June 2026.

How much does recruiting cost?

One Recruit costs 300 Diamonds and ten cost 3,000. Every 10 draws guarantees an Excellent or higher pilot. Our gacha guide breaks down the banners.

What is element matching?

Pilots belong to one of four elements: Solaris, Sandstorm, Cyclone or Nimbus. An Epic Wingman on a pilot of the same element gives +25% Base Attributes.

Account and Availability

Is Acecraft available in the US?

Acecraft became unavailable to US players in January 2026 and returned to US iOS and Android on May 10, 2026. The Google Play Store listing was the last piece to come back, so if you cannot find it there, check the official Acecraft channels for the current status.

Stop Doing This: playing on an unlinked guest account. Link your account so your progress survives a new phone or a reinstall.

Acecraft FAQ: Quick Answers

Is Acecraft free to play?

Yes. It is free on iOS and Android, with optional purchases. Our F2P guide shows how to progress without spending.

Who is the best pilot in Acecraft?

It changes with every new pilot. Check our tier list for the current rankings.

Is Tempest Trek the same as Tempus Trek?

Yes. The official name is Tempus Trek. “Tempest Trek” is a common misspelling.

How many stages does Acecraft have?

The official store listing promises over 100 stages, and new chapters keep arriving. Chapter 13, The Metropolis, opens after stage 12-9.

Does Acecraft have co-op?

Yes. Real time two player co-op, plus the limited time Co-Pilot event mode.

GG: that covers the questions that trip up most new pilots. Learn to lift your finger for pink projectiles, spend Gold on Modify, pull in tens, and check back after every update. You’re welcome.
