Emblems are one of those systems that sit quietly in a menu until you realize half your friends’ power comes from them. They arrived in the January 2026 update (version 1.3.113), and they have been a steady source of extra combat stats ever since. The good news: you do not need to spend a single Diamond to build a solid set.
This guide walks through how Emblems work as of the October 2026 update that added SP pilot Drakuku: how to unlock them, where to farm them every day, and how to set up Presets so the right Emblems are on for the right mode. There’s no wrong way to approach this, so take it at your own pace.
What Emblems Actually Do
Emblems are equipped on your Gear, and each one boosts your combat Attributes. Think of them as a second layer of stats on top of the Gear itself. Better Gear gives you a stronger base, and Emblems push those numbers further.
The other half of the system is Presets. You can save multiple Emblem loadouts and swap between them, which means you do not have to rebuild your setup by hand every time you move from Adventure to a boss mode. This is one of those moments worth slowing down for, because a good Preset habit saves a lot of tapping later.
How to Unlock Emblems
Clear Adventure stage 4-6 and the Emblem feature opens. That is early, so most players unlock it within their first few sessions. If you have not seen it yet, push through Chapter 4 first. Our Adventure mode guide has tips if a stage is giving you trouble.
Where to Get Emblems
There are three official sources. Two of them are free daily events, and that is where most of your collection should come from.
| Source | Where to find it | How often | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quick Patrol | Patrol button in the lobby | Daily event | Free |
| Nemeses’ Return | Mode buttons near Start | Daily event | Free |
| Emblem Workshop | Emblem menu | Any time | Draws (paid currency) |

Quick Patrol
Quick Patrol is the low effort one. Tap it, collect, move on. Don’t skip this one, because daily drops are what slowly turn a thin Emblem bag into a real collection. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Nemeses’ Return
Nemeses’ Return is a ranked boss fight, and it drops Emblems too. Your ranking is shown inside your own group, so even a mid level account can place well enough to make it worth running every day. Our Nemeses’ Return guide covers how to squeeze out more damage.
Emblem Workshop
The Emblem Workshop lets you draw Emblems directly. It is the fastest route, but it costs currency you could spend elsewhere, such as pilot recruits. If you are free to play, treat the Workshop as a bonus, not your main source, and check our F2P guide before you spend.
Rarity and Upgrading
Like Gear and pilots, Emblems come in rarity tiers marked by color, and higher rarity means stronger stats. Completionists, you’ll want to know: the community regularly reports fusing duplicate Emblems into higher tiers, so lower rarity drops are not junk. Hold on to them until you know what they can become.
Many Emblems also carry a bonus effect on top of their stats. Some of these effects are tied to specific attachments you pick up during a run, so an Emblem can be great in one build and pointless in another. Read the effect text before you equip, and compare it with the attachments you actually take. Our attachments guide helps here.

Take Your Time: do not feed away an Emblem with a rare effect just because its stats look low today. Effects are harder to replace than raw numbers.
Setting Up Your Presets
Presets are where Emblems go from “nice stats” to “smart build.” Here’s your checklist for a simple three Preset setup:
- Adventure Preset: your all rounder. Raw stats and effects that help with waves of small enemies.
- Boss Preset: for Nemeses’ Return and boss heavy stages. Prioritize effects that work with the attachments you lean on against bosses.
- Event Preset: for Tempus Trek and limited modes, tuned to whatever that mode rewards.
Easily missable, so heads up: Presets only help if you remember to switch. Make a habit of checking your active Preset each time you change mode.
Common Emblem Mistakes
- Skipping the daily events: Quick Patrol and Nemeses’ Return are free Emblems. Missing a day is missing drops you cannot get back.
- Equipping by stats alone: an Emblem whose effect boosts an attachment you never pick is a wasted slot.
- Dumping everything into the Workshop: draws are tempting, but pilots and recruits usually give more value per Diamond. See our gacha guide for how pulls compare.
- Forgetting your Gear: Emblems ride on Gear, so upgrading the Gear underneath matters too. Our Gear Fusion guide explains how.
