North Lomei Castle Top Floor is one of the giant floating Zonai labyrinths in Tears of the Kingdom, parked in the freezing sky over Hebra. Most players fly up for the Tenbez Shrine and leave. Big mistake. There’s a Korok hiding on the edge of this thing, and it’s one of the most fun seeds in the Hebra Sky.

It’s a falling sparkle Korok: step on a stump, jump off, and catch the sparkle before it hits the ground. Here’s the play, start to finish.

Where Is the North Lomei Castle Top Floor Korok Seed?

The seed sits on the North Lomei Castle Top Floor, in the East Hebra Sky Archipelago, a little east of the Tenbez Shrine.

Trust me on the coordinates. The castle is huge and every wall looks the same from above, so drop a map pin on that spot before you fly up.

How to Get to North Lomei Castle

This is a high sky island, so you can’t just glide over from the ground.

  1. Launch from Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower: it fires you high into the Hebra Sky and is the usual starting point for this area.
  2. Glide or fly east: from the launch you will need to hop islands. Bring Zonai Charges and batteries, because a flying device (a wing or a fan build) gets you there far more reliably than the paraglider alone.
  3. Land on top of the maze: you want the roof, not the corridors. The Top Floor is exactly what it sounds like.
  4. Activate Tenbez Shrine: it’s on the Top Floor, so you get a fast travel point right next to the seed.

Stop Doing This: flying up in your default tunic. This is the Hebra Sky, and the castle is freezing. Wear warm armor or drink a cold resistance elixir with at least two levels before you launch. Our cooking and elixir guide shows how to make one, and if you’d rather build your own flyer, Autobuild saves you from rebuilding a wing every trip.

Step by Step: Catch the Falling Sparkle

  1. Warp to Tenbez Shrine once it’s unlocked, then head east across the Top Floor toward the coordinates.
  2. Find the stump: look for the Korok stump (the leafy marker on a log) at the coordinates above. The seed spot sits higher than the shrine, so climb up rather than down.
  3. Step on it: a sparkle appears and starts falling.
  4. Jump down after it: skydive straight down, keep the sparkle on screen and close the distance.
  5. Examine the sparkle: press A when the prompt shows up, before it touches the ground. The Korok pops out and hands you the seed.
  6. Open your paraglider: you just jumped off a sky island, so deploy before you hit the surface.

Tips So You Don’t Miss It

  • Dive headfirst: a skydive falls faster than the sparkle drifts, so tuck in and catch up instead of gliding.
  • Spam the prompt: the examine prompt only shows up when you’re close. Keep tapping A as you get near so you grab it the first frame it appears.
  • Don’t panic if you lose sight: the sparkle keeps falling in a straight line. Look straight down and you’ll find it again.
  • Failed? No penalty. Warp back to Tenbez Shrine, step on the stump again and retry.
  • Bring stamina food: if you end up climbing back up walls or gliding between islands, stamina runs out fast in the cold.

Why This Seed Is Worth It

Why This Slaps: Korok Seeds are how you buy weapon, bow and shield slots from Hestu. Every one of them counts, and a seed sitting next to a shrine warp is about as cheap as they come. You’re already up here for Tenbez Shrine, so grab it while you’re on the roof.

Want to plan the rest of your hunt? Our Korok Seed locations guide covers how the collection works, and if you’re still early in the game, the Great Sky Island Korok Seeds guide teaches every puzzle type, falling sparkles included.

Oh, and don’t mix this one up with the South Lomei Castle Top Floor seed. That’s a separate Korok on a different floating labyrinth.
