| A | Very strong, with a small weakness or one mode where they fall off. | Yes, especially if they fit the team you already have. |
| B | Solid and usable, but outclassed once you unlock better options. | Fine early on. Do not sink rare resources into them. |
| C | Niche picks or characters left behind by the current meta. | Only if you love them or a specific mode calls for them. |
Ranks reflect the game as it plays today. When a balance update lands, we go back over the list and move picks up or down.
A letter on its own tells you nothing. Each entry explains what the pick does well, where it struggles and who it suits.
We flag picks that only shine with heavy investment, so free-to-play players know where their resources go furthest.
Some picks rank lower alone but jump a tier in the right team. We call those out instead of burying them.
A boss killer is not always a good farmer. Where a pick is much better in one mode, the list says so.
Lower tiers are not useless. If you enjoy a character, you can still clear most content with them.
We go over them after every major balance patch, and sooner when a new release shakes up the meta.

Grade (SS, S, A and B) is a pilot’s rarity in the game. Tier (S to C) is our rank of how strong that pilot is right now. A high grade pilot is not always a high tier pick.
