Guides that pair with the map

The map shows you where things are. These guides tell you what to do once you get there.

How to use it

Get the most out of the map

Towers first

Switch on Sheikah Towers and head for the nearest one. Every tower you activate fills in that region of your in-game map too.

Track your progress

Press Mark found in a popup, or right-click a marker (long-press on a phone). The Progress tab counts what you have done per category, and Hide found clears it off the map.

Work through a checklist

The Checklist tab lists every location that is on the map right now. Tick them off as you go, or click a name to fly straight to it.

Plan a boss run

Show only Hinox, Lynels and Stone Talus, then press Nearest missing to hop from one to the next. Save the Lynels for when your hearts and armor can take a hit.

Stop and cook

Turn on Cooking Pots and Stables before a long trip. Most stables have a pot right next to them, so you can rest and cook in one stop.

Leave yourself notes

Right-click the map to drop a pin with a note, like a chest you want to come back to. Pins are saved with your progress.
