Starting Acecraft with a strong S pilot makes the first chapters a lot smoother. That’s the whole idea behind rerolling: start fresh accounts until your opening pulls land a pilot you’re happy to build around, then lock that account in.

It’s not a quick reroll game, though. Recruiting doesn’t open on the first screen, so every attempt costs real playtime. Here’s the full breakdown: who to aim for, how the loop works, and when you should skip rerolling entirely.

Should You Reroll in Acecraft?

Your call, but be honest about the cost. Recruiting unlocks after you’ve cleared 15 Adventure stages, so each attempt means playing through the opening chapters again before you can pull a single pilot.

  • Reroll if: you want a specific S pilot from day one and you don’t mind replaying the same early stages a few times.
  • Skip it if: you just want to play. Ekko and the other A pilots carry the early chapters fine, and the game hands out Diamonds steadily through dailies, events and Lucky Chests.
  • Middle ground: do one or two attempts, take the best result and move on.

Recruit Costs and Guarantees

Know the numbers before you start, so you can tell when an account is worth keeping.

(Pro tip: the 10-draw guarantee only promises Excellent or higher. Excellent is A rarity, so it’s a safety net, not an S pilot guarantee.)

Who to Reroll For

Pilot rarities run A (Excellent), S (Epic), SS and SP. You’re realistically rerolling for an S pilot, since SS and SP pilots arrive through their own limited banners.

  • Elsa: one of the two original S pilots, a Sharpshot whose Stunt and Passive both feed on absorbing pink projectiles. A great teacher for the core mechanic.
  • Joey: the other original S Sharpshot, available in the standard pool and an easy pilot to start building around.
  • The current Skyward Recruit pilot: limited pilots such as Spina rotate through Skyward Recruit. If the featured one is strong, a lucky early pull there is worth more than a standard S.

Check out our Acecraft tier list and S grade pilots guide before you pick a target. Oh, and set that target before your first attempt, not halfway through.

The Reroll Loop, Step by Step

  1. Start on a guest account. Don’t bind it to Google, Apple or any social login yet.
  2. Play through to the Recruit unlock. Clear Adventure stages until recruiting opens after 15 stages. Skip cutscenes to save time.
  3. Claim everything. Grab mail, login rewards, Flight Log rewards and any free Diamond claims you’ve unlocked.
  4. Redeem codes. Head to our Acecraft codes page and redeem every working code before you pull.
  5. Pull. Spend your Recruit Tickets and Diamonds. Ten-pulls cost exactly ten singles, so there’s no discount either way.
  6. Judge the result. Got your target? Go to step 7. If not, reset the guest account and start again from step 1.
  7. Bind immediately. The moment you’re happy, link the account. An unbound guest account is one lost phone away from gone.

Nailed it? Then stop rerolling and start playing. Our beginner guide picks up right where your fresh account begins.

Reroll Mistakes to Avoid

  • Binding too early: once a guest account is linked, resetting gets messy. Bind only the keeper.
  • Chasing perfection: one solid S pilot is plenty. Ten attempts for the “perfect” pull costs hours you could spend progressing.
  • Ignoring Gear: Standard Recruit can also give Gear, so a pull that “missed” a pilot may still help your account.
  • Forgetting the long game: Amplification and leveling matter more than your first pull over time. Read our pilot Amplification guide once you’ve settled.

Your First Hour After the Reroll

You’ve got your keeper. Here’s how to turn that lucky pull into real progress instead of a pretty roster card:

  • Put your levels into the new pilot: Gold and EXP Soda are tight early, so pour them into the pilot you rerolled for rather than spreading them thin.
  • Learn the Stunt: every Stunt fires when you absorb a pink projectile by lifting your finger. Practice it on easy stages; our pink projectile absorption guide shows the timing.
  • Start the daily habit: Flight Log quests and free Diamond claims add up fast, and they fund your next banner.
  • Save, don’t splash: once the reroll is done, bank Diamonds for a pilot you actually want instead of single pulls on every banner.

Acecraft Reroll FAQ

Is rerolling worth it in Acecraft?

Only if you want a specific S pilot from the start. Recruiting opens after 15 Adventure stages, so each attempt takes real playtime.

When does recruiting unlock in Acecraft?

After you clear 15 Adventure stages. Before that, you play with your starting pilot.

How much does a ten-pull cost?

3,000 Diamonds, or 10 Recruit Tickets. A single recruit is 300 Diamonds or 1 ticket.

Who is the best reroll target?

Elsa or Joey from the standard pool are safe S picks. If the current Skyward Recruit pilot is strong, pulling them early is even better.

Does the 10-pull guarantee an S pilot?

No. Every 10 draws guarantees an Excellent (A) or higher pilot, not an S.

Bottom Line: pick one target, keep attempts to a handful, redeem codes before you pull, and bind the account the second you’re happy. A good start is nice, but the pilots you actually level and amplify are the ones that win.
