The Greymane Camp is a refugee site and main base in Hernand, Pywel. This is where Kliff rebuilds the Greymane Faction after Pailune falls to the Black Bears.
Greymane Camp in Crimson Desert is a Location situated in Hernand, one of the regions in Pywel. The Greymane Camp is a refugee site of the Greymanes after Pailune was invaded and taken down by the Black Bears. This campsite will be the new home of the remaining Greymanes who survived the attack. This is also where Kliff will reunite his comrades and other Greymane members.
The Greymane Camp is where Kliff will rebuild his faction. This place is where Kliff will spend most of his time when he is not out exploring the lands of Pywel. As you progress through the game, eventually, some of the surviving members of the Greymanes and Kliff’s comrades will come to this camp and help with its development. The camp will continuously evolve and new features will be unlocked as you progress through the story.

When you arrive in Howling Hill, locate the nearest Abyss Nexus to unlock a fast-travel point close to the Greymane Camp. This will allow you to quickly return to base between exploration sessions. The Abyss Nexus is a large glowing pillar of dark energy: approach and interact with it to activate the waypoint.
Once the cooking facilities are unlocked at the Greymane Camp, you can craft food items that provide buffs and restore health. Ingredients can be sourced from farming at the camp or gathered during exploration. More advanced recipes become available as you unlock upgrades for the camp kitchen.
The Private Stash is your personal storage at Greymane Camp. Unlike the Camp Stash (shared with Freeswords), the Private Stash holds items intended for Kliff personally. You can deposit and withdraw items freely to manage your inventory weight during long expeditions.
As the Greymane Camp expands, farming plots and ranching pens become available. You can plant crops, raise animals, and harvest resources for crafting and cooking. Managing these facilities provides a steady supply of materials without needing to venture out for every ingredient.
The Trading System allows you to pack goods and send them to cities for camp profit. Talk to Brice at the Trade Office to manage shipments. Note that profits generated from packed goods go directly to the camp fund. If you prefer personal gold, sell goods directly to a black market vendor instead of packing them.
After acquiring the allocated land in Howling Hill, the Freesword Management Office becomes available, handled by Ross. You can hire Freeswords for combat or send them on resource-gathering missions. Each Freesword has specialized gathering skills shown in their info panel.

Camp expansion is tied to story progression and resource investment. As you complete main quests, new structures and NPCs will arrive. You can also spend camp funds to build new facilities. Expansion unlocks features like the Barber Shop, Dyehouse, advanced crafting stations, and more Freesword capacity.
The Greymane Camp provides two character customization services once unlocked through camp expansion:
Barber Shop (Barbara): Change Kliff’s hairstyle, beard, and facial features. Visit the Barber Shop to access these cosmetic options at any time.
Dyehouse Shop: Recolor your equipped gear and cosmetics. The Dyehouse lets you personalize the look of Kliff’s armor and clothing with a wide range of color options.
The Camp Supply Management system is overseen by Carl. Supplies are essential for camp operations, Freesword missions, and building upgrades. Monitor your camp’s supply levels regularly and restock by farming, gathering, or purchasing from merchants. A well-supplied camp runs more efficiently and enables more Freesword missions simultaneously.
