How do I compare two Steam games?

Search for the first game and pick it, then add a second one (up to four) and press Compare. The comparison page shows both games on one player count chart with a side by side table.

Where do the player numbers come from?

Player counts come from the official Steam Web API. We check busy games about every 10 minutes and keep the full history, so the chart can show the last 24 hours up to all time.

What does the 30-day average mean?

It is the average number of people playing at any moment over the last 30 days, which is a fairer measure of popularity than a single peak or a busy weekend.
